It is the first prototype, with 25 charms and 7 boss rules, and no Endless or Stakes. The app has 40 charms and 12 boss rules.

How a round goes

  1. Roll five dice and tap the ones you like to keep them.
  2. Reroll the rest, up to twice. The table shows what you would score right now, charms included.
  3. Score the throw. Reach the round's target within three throws.
  4. Spend your winnings on charms that bend the rules. Then do it again: nine rounds, two bosses, 12 possible boss rules.

Each run takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The full rules are on How to play, and every hand is on the hands page.

Charms rewrite the scoring

You can hold 5 charms at a time, out of 40. Each one changes how your dice count. 24 are in the pool from the start and every boss you beat unlocks 2 more. Here is the same throw with and without each of these.

See all 40 charms.

Nine rounds and the House

Round 5 and Round 9 are boss rounds. The House breaks one rule of the table, and you see which rules are coming from the first round, so you can plan for them. There are 6 mid bosses and 6 final bosses, and each run draws one of each. Meet the bosses.

After you win

Endless keeps the run going past Round 9, with a boss every 3 rounds. Stakes are three harder ways to play a normal run: Red Chip, Black Chip and Gold Chip. Both come with the full game.
